I’m going to answer this in two ways with two different assumptions, but there are many more possible answers. This answer is assuming that the question is asking why only 5GB of 8GB of RAM is free - meaning that 3GB is being used. Best Prime Day Deals on Tech and PC Hardware 2020: CPUs, SSDs, PCs and More. Fetch 5 8gb UltraFetch is one of the original FTP client applications for the Macintosh. It allows you to upload and download files to your website by connecting to remote servers through your login username and password.
With Fetch you can also connect to anonymous FTP servers to download files.
Here are some key features of 'Fetch':
Navigation
Fetch displays the files on your account in a form that is immediately familiar, because it mimics the appearance of the Mac OS's built-in file lists: Moving from directory to directory is as easy as double clicking on a folder icon, or using the pop-up menu to retrace your steps.
File Transfer
Airbuddy 1 3. The most important job of an FTP client is to move files, and Fetch makes this as easy as pressing the 'Put..' and 'Get..' buttons, or simply dragging file icons between Fetch and the Finder. You can transfer not only files, but entire folders and directories, with a single command. Fetch includes support for more file formats than any other FTP client, and includes sophisticated logic to automatically select the right format or transfer mode. Fetch even lets you transfer files and directories directly between two servers, simply by dragging the icons from one to the other. Fetch was the first Mac FTP client to support resuming downloads, and now in version 4.0 that functionality is available even if you have quit Fetch or your computer has crashed in mid-transfer.
Compatibility
Fetch is compatible with a wide range of FTP servers, from mainframes and high-end servers to Macintosh and Windows computers, and even servers embedded in prepress, image processing, and medical imaging systems.
Limitations:
15 days trial.
What's New:
Added support for SOCKS 5 password authentication
Fixed a bug that prevented Fetch from opening on case-sensitive file systems
Fixed a bug that prevented Fetch from opening on Mac OS X 10.3.9 when the BSD subsystem wasn't installed
Fixed problems importing shortcut files that include broken shortcuts
Fixed widget crash on Mac Pros and iMac Core 2 Duos
Fixed crash in Get Specified Fetch Items action on Mac Pros and iMac Core 2 Duos
Fixed recent connections so they won't remember passwords that are not stored in the keychain
